International TIMBRE workshop, conference and final meeting in Bucharest

Participants from all member states of the TIMBRE consortium met in the Romanian capital for a four-day meeting. The results of all work packages were presented, methods and tools are tested and discussed and the further spread of TIMBRE-results debated. On the part of the project partner JENA-GEOS®, Dr. Kersten Roselt took part in the conference. The internationally renowned project will be closed in this summer of this year. The dissemination of the results and efforts to receipt of the methods and tools into practice are the remaining period at the center. Before the project is completed, JENA-GEOS® will presented a publication for the identification and monetization of ecological risks to urban sites (method MESOTES). The assessment tool suite for design and assessment of options for re-use brownfield sites will be tested in the office of JENA-GEOS® for more practical applications.
