Start of the EFRE project TNA EnergieWerkStadt

Before the end of the year 2011 we received the grant approval for the project EnergieWerkStadt, took place today at the Nordhausen with instead of consulting for the project start. The project EnergieWerkStadt aims to establish functional information and counseling centers at local and regional levels, which act as the interface between planning and actual implementation of projects in the field of renewable energies and climate protection. Target groups are primarily small and medium-sized municipalities which, because of lack of human and financial resources are often not possible and not have the expertise available to implement recommendations into practice.
As part of the project, the possibilities of urban renewal energy projects based on various model involving all the tangential work areas, such as financial models, education and marketing strategies, etc., which are essential for the implementation of specific projects are considered. The results serve as a basis for the design, implementation and realization of the idea of
EnergieWerkStadt into practice in different model regions. It is intended to deal with different sub-projects in the pilot regions Sondershausen in Thuringia, Villach, Austria, and a model community in the Lake Constance-Rhine Alps region (Bodensee-Alpenrhein-Region).
The project is under the auspices of Nordhausen. JENA-GEOS
