JENA-GEOS® successful at 2nd TASK-Symposium
To this year’s symposium of ‘Terra-, Aqua- and Site Remediation Centre of Competence’ (TASK) in Leipzig our company was represented with 2 presentations.
Mrs. Anika Homuth (picture) gave a lecture on the results of joint project ‘Old Sites – New Energy’, which has dealt with analyses of energetic re-use of former operationally used brownfields. In this frame a land-management-application was developed in the form of a software-tool (see news of 16.06.2010).
Furthermore, Dr. Kersten Roselt gave a lecture on the results of REFINA-Projekt optirisk. Our currently running project BIOGEOTHERMICS, which task is the thermal use of exothermic reactions in the groundwater at brownfields, was shown first at the stand of JENA-GEOS®.
The conference proceeded through enhanced international involvement. Beside technical discussions about presented projects, inspired discussions about brownfield revitalization and the continuation of optirisk as a demonstration project in the US took place at the symposium.
